A female final year student , in one of the universities in Imo State simply identified as Chisom was on Friday stripped naked for allegedly stealing a Blackberry phone at a very popular nightclub located in Owerri metropolis .
According to an eyewitness, Chisom had removed the phone from the bag of another colleague in
the club but could not properly operate the phone as she made efforts to switch it off but could not.
Luck ran out on her as Saturday Tribune gathered that the owner of the phone, using the phone of a friend tried her number only to discover that the phone rang in the student’s boot.
The people at the club, it was gathered descended on the suspect, beating her blue and black before they tore her skimpy dress to shreds.
It took the efforts of the security guards at the club to save the student from being lynched. She was taken into one of the rooms at the club to change her torn dress.
